Alexander D´Oleo Gabriel

Managing Partner

Attorney specialized in Real Estate, Commercial, Corporate, and Family Law.

Founder and Managing Partner of DHOZ Abogados, Alexander D’Oleo Gabriel brings recognized expertise in Real Estate, Commercial, Corporate, and Family Law. His practice covers municipal and commercial regulations in the Dominican Republic, contract drafting and negotiation, and structuring business operations and foreign investment.

He has led legal crisis management cases, debt negotiations, and advised clients in complex scenarios, delivering strategic solutions for both companies and individuals.

Currently, he serves as Honorary Consul of Peru in Punta Cana, with jurisdiction in La Altagracia and La Romana. From 2016 to 2020, he was Secretary of the Municipal Council of the Verón–Punta Cana Tourism District.

Saymi Lahoz Lahoz

Specialist in Corporate Law, Saymi Lahoz Lahoz focuses her practice on the regulations governing commercial companies in the Dominican Republic. She has extensive experience in restructuring and transformation processes, as well as intellectual property, negotiations, and commercial and civil contracts.

Attorney, graduated Cum Laude from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2001. She obtained a Master’s in Business Law and Economic Legislation from the same university in 2005, strengthening her expertise in corporate and business law.

In 2006 she completed a Diploma in Intellectual Property from FINJUS-APEC, gaining in-depth knowledge in the protection of intangible assets and copyright. Later, in 2013, she earned an MBA from Barna Business School, in partnership with the University of Barcelona, expanding her strategic and business management perspective.

Her academic background reflects a solid combination of legal specialization and business training, enabling her to provide comprehensive advice to both local and international companies in various areas of corporate law.

Her first children’s book, Where is Eleonora?, is a non-profit initiative through which literacy materials in the Braille system have been donated to children with visual impairments, low vision, and deafblindness in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic. The book also serves as a platform to promote and celebrate Dominican culture.
